Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3.0)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with potential for commercial application by 2026
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align technology strategy with business objectives
- Author thought leadership reports on future tech trends and their societal implications
- Manage innovation pipeline from ideation to pilot deployment with measurable KPIs
- Represent the company at global tech summits and academic symposiums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of launching tech products with 10M+ user impact
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystems and academic institutions
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience at TED Talks or equivalent forums
- Published author in peer-reviewed tech journals or industry whitepapers
