Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market forecasts
- Lead research initiatives in quantum-resistant cryptography and edge AI deployment
- Identify emerging tech trends through patent analysis and academic partnerships
- Architect scalable frameworks for metaverse interoperability solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused prioritization
- Mentor junior technologists in future-readiness methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, blockchain, or neuro-interfaces
- Proven track record of launching commercialized future-tech solutions
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering preferred
- Published research in IEEE/ACM journals on 2025+ technology forecasts
- Certification in Futures Technology Planning (FTP) required
- Experience managing distributed innovation teams across 3+ timezones
