Responsibilities
- Develop and execute long-term technology roadmaps spanning 2026-2030
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, AR/VR) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and manage external partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Conduct competitive analysis and market positioning studies for next-gen tech
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of continuous innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience with patent strategy and intellectual property management
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level experience
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
