Responsibilities
- Develop strategic roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotechnology integration by 2026
- Lead cross-functional innovation labs with engineers, ethicists, and futurists
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Establish governance frameworks for responsible AI deployment and quantum security protocols
- Partner with C-suite to align technology strategy with market disruption opportunities
- Present strategic blueprints to investors and regulatory bodies
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets for prototype development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 experience
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or Futurism
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar journals (200+ citations)
- Proven track record of launching tech products with $100M+ market impact
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and blockchain consensus mechanisms
- Certification in Technology Foresight (WFS or APF accredited)
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust preferred)
- Experience advising governments on tech policy frameworks
