Responsibilities
- Develop 3-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies including AI ethics and quantum integration
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in 2026+ markets
- Analyze patent landscapes and competitor innovation trajectories
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions
- Monitor regulatory shifts affecting future tech adoption
- Mentor junior strategists in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with 5+ in emerging technologies
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products (AI/quantum/sustainability focus)
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management with executive-level communication
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTE) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating technology forecasting work
