Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps for 2026-2030, aligning with business objectives
- Lead research and evaluation of emerging technologies including quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and generative AI
- Design and implement pilot programs for disruptive innovations
- Present strategic technology recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget allocation across innovation projects
- Build and lead cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and product managers
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes to identify first-mover advantages
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership roles
- Proven track record of implementing emerging technologies at scale
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, blockchain, or biotech integration
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Technology
- Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Strong financial acumen for R&D budget management and ROI analysis
