Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive technology strategies aligned with 2026 market projections and organizational goals
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) with disruptive potential
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to generate and evaluate future-focused product concepts
- Analyze global tech trends, competitor landscapes, and regulatory impacts to inform strategic decisions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members with compelling data visualization
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry thought leaders
- Oversee the development of a 2026 technology roadmap with clear milestones and KPIs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of successfully implementing future-focused initiatives
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, IoT, etc.) and their commercial applications
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and board members
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFM, CFP) highly desirable
- Portfolio demonstrating past technology strategy implementations with measurable impact
