Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead ideation sessions for breakthrough applications of quantum computing and AI
- Conduct competitive analysis in emerging tech sectors (neuromorphic chips, bio-integrated systems)
- Partner with C-suite to secure $50M+ annual R&D budgets for 2026 initiatives
- Manage global consortium of 50+ academic and industry research partners
- Present strategic vision to investors and board members quarterly
- Drive patent strategy targeting 15+ core technology innovations annually
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (Nature, IEEE Spectrum)
- Track record of scaling tech ventures from concept to $100M+ valuation
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic engineering, or climate tech
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants ($10M+)
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for global partnerships
