Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to map emerging technologies and their business implications
- Produce white papers and executive briefings on disruptive innovations and market evolution
- Partner with R&D teams to validate future concepts and accelerate innovation pipelines
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track progress against long-term strategic goals
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and innovation processes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience leading high-impact strategic initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
