Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions to identify strategic opportunities through 2026+
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive future intelligence framework for the organization
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development and business strategy
- Present compelling future scenarios to executive stakeholders and influence high-stakes decisions
- Build and nurture a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry pioneers
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of megatrends on our industry and competitive landscape
- Champion innovation culture through thought leadership and internal advocacy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-oriented planning
- Proven track record of translating future insights into successful business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous transformational initiatives
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (strongly preferred)
