Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies with 5-10 year market impact
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligning with corporate vision and emerging trends
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate foresight into product development cycles
- Present future scenarios to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and storytelling
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks for cutting-edge research
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies and innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and technology forecasting
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, and climate tech
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to inspire diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
