Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026+ landscape
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario models for C-level decision-making
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Author thought leadership reports and executive briefings on disruptive opportunities
- Establish quantitative/qualitative metrics to track evolution of future ecosystems
- Partner with R&D to incubate next-generation product pipelines
- Represent company at global futurist conferences and trend summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, technology forecasting, and pattern recognition
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, neurotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementations
