Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework, identifying disruptive technologies, market shifts, and socio-economic drivers
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic insights into concrete product development and business strategy initiatives
- Produce high-impact trend reports and scenario-planning documents for executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, innovation labs, and thought leaders to pioneer future-focused research
- Design and implement a continuous foresight methodology to monitor horizon signals and update strategic priorities quarterly
- Mentor junior analysts in future-gazing techniques and analytical frameworks
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and industry summits
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurism roles with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills with portfolio of foresight deliverables
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or Foresight Practitioner) strongly preferred
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and influencing organizational strategy
