Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (2023-2026 horizon) through market research, patent analysis, and academic partnerships
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, blockchain, and sustainable technologies into core business operations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into product development priorities
- Present trend forecasts to executive stakeholders and board members with data-driven impact assessments
- Establish innovation partnerships with leading research institutions and technology incubators
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory factors affecting technology adoption in 2026+ ecosystems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in emerging technology analysis at Fortune 500 companies or top-tier consultancies
- Proven track record of developing 5+ year technology roadmaps with measurable ROI
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences (sample presentations required)
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (white papers, industry journals, or conferences)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Horizon Scanning, Delphi, Scenario Planning)
