Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 societal and industrial transformation goals
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, AI ethics) and assess market viability
- Design and implement innovation frameworks for Fortune 500 clients in energy, healthcare, and logistics sectors
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members through compelling data visualizations
- Manage R&D budgets exceeding $5M and coordinate with global research institutions
- Mentor interdisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and futurists
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote at industry conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership with 5+ years in futures thinking
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Proven track record of launching at least two transformative tech products/services
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or sustainable tech ecosystems
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., CFS) or equivalent analytical frameworks
- Exceptional presentation skills with ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience managing distributed R&D teams across 3+ time zones
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or industry white papers
