Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap using predictive modeling and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum AI, biotech interfaces, neural networks)
- Identify emerging threats and opportunities through market intelligence and competitor analysis
- Present strategic vision to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Drive innovation sprints focused on ethical AI implementation and sustainable tech
- Maintain strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and NASA
- Produce quarterly future-state briefings for the board of directors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in futurist/forecasting roles
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, AGI ethics, neurotech, climate tech
- Proven track record of launching products with 3+ year market impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proficiency in strategic forecasting tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Published thought leadership in tech journals (e.g., Nature Futures, MIT Tech Review)
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D budgets for experimental initiatives
- Fluency in data visualization tools (D3.js, Tableau) and scenario planning software
