Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and installations: Execute residential and commercial plumbing repairs, fixture installations, and pipe replacements with precision.
- Diagnose issues: Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to identify leaks, clogs, and other plumbing failures efficiently.
- Blueprint interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building plans to plan project execution effectively.
- Code compliance: Ensure all work strictly adheres to local, state, and national plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Customer communication: Interact professionally with customers, explaining technical issues in simple terms and providing transparent estimates.
- Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system longevity.
- Tool management: Maintain and organize personal tools and company equipment to ensure readiness for daily tasks.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman or Master Plumber License (or equivalent experience) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional plumbing experience in residential and commercial settings.
- Technical skills: Strong knowledge of piping systems, water heaters, drainage, and gas lines.
- Physical stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in confined spaces or outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Soft skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and strong work ethic.
