Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, demolition, and site preparation tasks following OSHA safety standards
- Operate hand/power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills) and heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers)
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Maintain clean, organized job sites with proper waste disposal protocols
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, masons, electricians) with material handling and installation
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance logs
- Participate in safety briefings and toolbox meetings
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero tolerance for tardiness
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shifts
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Ohio driver's license with clean record
