Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand tools (shovels, hammers, saws) and light machinery (concrete mixers, power washers)
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and debris cleanup
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Assist with equipment maintenance and basic site setup/teardown
- Complete daily timecards and report progress to supervisors
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours daily
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Basic math skills for material measurements and calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero tolerance for tardiness
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work independently as needed
