Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine layouts and wiring.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions on-site.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to OSHA standards.
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure longevity and safety.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the state of Illinois is mandatory.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, wiring techniques, and safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team under time constraints.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in various conditions.
