Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Supervise apprentices and junior electricians on assigned projects
- Coordinate with contractors and clients to ensure timely project completion
- Maintain clean and safe work environments at all job sites
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Virginia Journeyman Electrician license required
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Proficient in conduit bending, wire pulling, and circuit troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and Virginia electrical regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces
