Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure code compliance
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Coordinate with project managers and team members to ensure timely project completion
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including NFPA 70E and OSHA standards
- Manage inventory and order materials for assigned projects
- Provide technical guidance to apprentices and junior electricians
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana Journeyman Electrician license
- Minimum 4 years of verifiable commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency with conduit bending, wiring methods, and power distribution systems
- OSHA 10-hour certification required (30-hour preferred)
- Strong knowledge of NEC, NEC updates, and local building codes
- Ability to work independently and in diverse environments
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Emergency response experience preferred
