Job Responsibilities
As a Journeyman Electrician, you will play a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems for our diverse client base.
- Install, maintain, and repair residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems, devices, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to plan layout and installation.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure system efficiency and safety.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, failures, and circuit problems.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, foremen, and other tradespeople.
- Document all work completed and report on job progress accurately.
Qualifications & Requirements
We are seeking candidates who are certified, experienced, and safety-conscious.
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to read and comprehend complex technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
