Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI) to forecast 3-5 year market disruptions
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 global sustainability goals
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable R&D priorities
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and integrate disruptive startups
- Present trend briefings to executive board and external stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track adoption of emerging paradigms
- Author thought leadership publications on future-of-work implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting technology adoption (provide case studies)
- Advanced degree in Technology Foresight, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AGI, synthetic biology)
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Exceptional data visualization skills for complex trend analysis
- Portfolio published in Future Journal, MIT Tech Review, or equivalent
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., APF, WFS) preferred
