Job Description
We are on the brink of a technological singularity. At Nexus Horizon Labs, we are not just predicting the future of 2026; we are architecting it. We are seeking a visionary Lead Neural Interface Architect to spearhead the development of our next-generation Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems.
In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between biological cognition and digital computation. You will be responsible for designing the neural pathways that allow seamless, high-bandwidth communication between the human cortex and our cloud-based AI infrastructure. This is an opportunity to leave a legacy in the field of Neuro-Engineering and define the UX standards for the next decade.
If you are a forward-thinker who thrives in ambiguity and wants to shape the future of humanity, we want to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Architect Neural Protocols: Design and implement low-latency, non-invasive Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) protocols optimized for 2026 standards.
- System Integration: Collaborate with quantum computing teams to ensure seamless data transmission between neural patterns and cloud processing units.
- UX/UI for Cortex: Create intuitive interfaces that translate complex data streams into actionable insights for medical and consumer applications.
- Ethical Frameworks: Establish and enforce rigorous safety and privacy guidelines for neural data handling and user consent.
- Prototype Development: Lead the engineering of high-fidelity prototypes for our next-gen headsets and implantable sensors.
- Roadmap Strategy: Define the technical roadmap for neural compatibility, anticipating regulatory changes and technological breakthroughs.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Masterβs degree in Computational Neuroscience, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in BCI, EEG signal processing, or advanced human-computer interaction design.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in C++, Python, and CUDA. Experience with machine learning models applied to biological signals.
- Innovation: Demonstrated ability to work in R&D environments and deliver cutting-edge solutions under tight deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent ability to translate complex technical concepts for cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Passion: Deep interest in the ethical implications of AI and the future of human augmentation.
