Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure accurate installation.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure compliance and safety.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues and repair malfunctioning equipment promptly.
- Ensure all work strictly adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license in the state of Missouri.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and electrical safety protocols.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment proficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
