Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safety and compliance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC/California Electrical Code).
- Work collaboratively with construction teams and project managers to meet deadlines.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- License: Current, valid Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician License in California.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial settings.
- Knowledge: Thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building regulations.
- Tools: Possession of basic electrical hand tools and the ability to use power tools.
- Physical: Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
- Transport: Reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License.
