Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical circuits, wiring, and fixtures.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Perform thorough troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on existing electrical infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Valid and current New York State Electrical License (Journeyman or Master).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, tools, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and comprehend complex electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work in various weather conditions, and climb ladders.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
