Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation requirements.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure satisfaction and timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, adhering to all safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License required (Virginia preferred).
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Familiarity with both residential and commercial wiring standards.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
