Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial buildings
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and Massachusetts state regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting methods
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and clients on project specifications
- Train and mentor junior electricians on safety protocols and best practices
- Manage inventory and order necessary electrical components
Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local building regulations
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends on emergency calls
