Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in strict accordance with local and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine the optimal layout for wiring and equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure all electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Ensure all on-site work complies with OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to provide project updates and resolve on-site challenges.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license required in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and at heights (scissor lifts, ladders).
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a keen attention to detail.
