Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. You will ensure that all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, devices, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure longevity and safety.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.
- Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, non-compliance, or energy efficiency issues.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of commercial or residential experience.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
