Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to determine layouts.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and respond to emergency repair calls as required.
- Test electrical systems and continuity to ensure proper installation and functionality.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status and requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Journeyman or Master Electrician License is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of verifiable hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and manual dexterity.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
