Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) and hand tools for site preparation
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized inventory
- Assist carpenters and masons with framing, concrete pouring, and finishing
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and hazardous waste disposal
- Read blueprints and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Complete shift reports and document daily progress accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety standards
