Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete pouring, framing, and demolition tasks
- Operate basic equipment including jackhammers, saws, and power washers under supervision
- Follow strict safety protocols including PPE usage and hazard communication
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized work zones
- Perform site cleanup and waste management according to environmental standards
- Complete daily progress reports and communicate with shift supervisors
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required (training provided)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Miami-Dade County
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends/holidays
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
