Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Assist skilled trades with framing, concrete pouring, and site preparation
- Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Operate heavy machinery (bobcats, forklifts) with proper certification
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and complete daily safety inspections
- Collaborate with night shift supervisors and cross-functional teams
- Document work progress and complete daily time sheets accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or equivalent training
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (training provided if needed)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Class B CDL license or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic tool knowledge
- Reliable transportation to job sites within the metro area
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
