Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and material handling at construction sites
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation and cleanup operations
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs promptly
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Work collaboratively in diverse weather conditions during night hours
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or labor experience preferred
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for night shifts (6 PM - 4 AM)
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
