Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
- Site Support: Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks including digging, mixing concrete, and basic carpentry support.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain basic construction equipment and hand tools under supervision.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
- Site Cleanup: Perform daily cleanup duties to ensure the job site is organized and safe for all personnel.
- Measurement: Assist in measuring and marking areas as directed by foremen or supervisors.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for long periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Work Ethic: Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong desire to learn.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Availability: Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as project schedules require.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is a plus, though not mandatory for all roles.
