Responsibilities
- Execute concrete pours, framing, and structural installations under supervision
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, forklifts) with proper certifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
- Maintain OSHA compliance standards and daily site safety inspections
- Coordinate material logistics and equipment maintenance checks
- Perform demolition, excavation, and site preparation tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex infrastructure projects
- Document daily progress reports and quality control metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on construction labor experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Commercial driver's license (Class B) preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with power tools and construction machinery
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Wichita
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
