Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely to and from the job site.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by cleaning debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground as directed.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and machinery, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and concrete mixers, following all safety protocols.
- Support Trades: Provide hands-on support to electricians, plumbers, and carpenters as needed to ensure project timelines are met.
- Quality Control: Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by adhering to OSHA standards and company regulations.
- Assisting with Demolition: Safely assist in light demolition tasks and debris removal during night operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a full-time basis.
- Documentation: Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Tools: Own basic hand tools (hammer, tape measure) is a plus.
- Safety Mindset: Must adhere to strict safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
