Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, demolition, and site preparation tasks with precision
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and forklifts
- Install and remove safety barriers, signage, and traffic control measures
- Maintain clean and organized job sites throughout shift operations
- Assist skilled tradespersons with material handling and equipment setup
- Conduct thorough equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding conditions
- Experience operating heavy machinery (excavator/bulldozer certification a plus)
- Strong attention to safety and detail-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible schedule availability for night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
