Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and framing under night shift supervision
- Operate heavy machinery safely (excavators, forklifts) with proper certifications
- Adhere to OSHA and local safety regulations for night operations
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling and site preparation
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic preventative maintenance
- Document daily progress and complete shift reports accurately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex construction projects
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material calculations and measurements
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Flexibility to work 10-hour shifts (6 PM - 4 AM) with rotating weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
