Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, grading, and site preparation tasks
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, excavators) with precision
- Install and dismantle scaffolding and temporary structures
- Maintain strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling
- Perform concrete pouring and finishing operations
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance
- Document work progress and material usage
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Night shift availability (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Class B CDL preferred (not mandatory)
- Basic blueprint reading skills
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Reliable transportation to job sites
