Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Perform preventative maintenance on transformers, circuit breakers, and control systems
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools and multimeters
- Ensure compliance with NEC codes and OSHA safety regulations
- Document service reports and maintain accurate technical documentation
- Collaborate with engineering teams for system upgrades and retrofits
- Mentor junior technicians during shift transitions
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 3 years commercial electrical experience
- Proven proficiency with conduit bending, motor controls, and PLC systems
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical systems
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Availability for 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am)
