Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/residential settings during overnight shifts
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications for complex electrical projects
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA, NEC, and local safety regulations
- Collaborate with day-shift teams for seamless project handovers and documentation
- Manage inventory and equipment maintenance for service vehicles and tools
- Provide emergency response support for critical electrical failures
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Illinois Electrician License (Journeyman or Master required)
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools (multimeters, clamp meters, etc.)
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure nighttime environments
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex electrical systems
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Flexibility to work extended hours during emergencies
