Responsibilities
- Load and unload building materials from trucks and organize them at the job site.
- Assist carpenters, electricians, and other skilled trades with daily tasks.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery safely under supervision.
- Measure, cut, and fit materials (wood, drywall, insulation) according to blueprints.
- Perform basic site preparation, including cleaning debris and setting up scaffolding.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace in compliance with OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices is a plus.
- Reliable transportation to various job sites in the Raleigh area.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
