Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and equipment setup
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, moving materials, and debris removal
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision (hammers, saws, drills)
- Maintain clean, organized job sites following OSHA safety protocols
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as assigned
- Load/unuck trucks and stage construction materials efficiently
- Complete daily site inspections and report safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required - we provide paid training
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred (not mandatory)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Charlotte metro area
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in team settings
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
