Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, laying out materials, and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment such as skid steers, generators, and air compressors under supervision.
- Assist Trades: Provide support to skilled tradespeople including carpenters, electricians, and masons by fetching tools and assisting with installations.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized job site by sweeping, hauling trash, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects and standing on uneven terrain.
- Driver's License: Valid state-issued driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Experience: Previous construction or landscaping experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Tools: Basic understanding of construction tools and safety gear is preferred.
- Schedule: Availability for part-time shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed.
