Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites safely and efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Assist in the setup and preparation of job sites, including cleaning debris and securing tools.
- General Labor: Perform a variety of manual labor tasks, including digging, lifting, and operating basic construction machinery under supervision.
- Support Trades: Provide assistance to skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs and time sheets.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work night shifts (typically 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Prior experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required; we will train the right candidate.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Communication: Basic communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus.
