As a Laborer, you will be the backbone of our operations, assisting skilled tradespeople with a variety of essential tasks. If you are physically fit, eager to learn, and ready to get your hands dirty, we want to hear from you and help you launch your career in the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stack building materials (bricks, lumber, drywall, etc.) at job sites efficiently.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision (hammers, saws, levels, drills).
- Assist in concrete pouring, framing, sheetrock hanging, and general site cleanup.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Transport materials between storage and job sites using carts, dollies, or forklifts.
- Perform site preparation tasks, including digging, tamping soil, and removing debris.
- Communicate effectively with foremen and team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
Qualifications
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (rain, heat, cold).
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Valid driver's license (preferred).
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
